Mentoring Barbados Youth With A Purpose

A mindset mentoring charity that is life-changing

A Barbadian with a Mission to Give Back

Born in Lascelles Terrace, Pinelands, St. Michael, Mrs. Terry Black (formerly Alleyne) went to Wilkie Cumberbatch Primary School until six. Then, she left with her family and moved to New York. She spent her summers in Barbados from nine until sixteen years of age. Terry has always had a deep connection with Barbados, and the Young Wealth Sharers is a way to give back to her country. Many speak of opportunities in the states, but Terry is determined to show the youth they can build opportunities in Barbados and become successful through hard work and diligence. The Young Wealth Sharers will transform the minds of the Barbadian youth and set them apart through mindset activities, building character, and teachings of generosity.

Building future wealth sharers

The Young Wealth Sharer is a charity founded by Terry Black, CEO of The Wealth Sharer, a Business Life and Wealth Coach for women business owners and entrepreneurs. The Young Wealth Sharer is focused on transforming the language and actions of young girls and boys living in Barbados to align with positive goals and achievements and set them on the right path to becoming The Young Wealth Sharers.

Hey Future Young Wealth Sharers!

This picture is of me on a trip to Fiji, French Polynesia, back in 2014. An Australian couple we had never met before this trip randomly presented an invitation to a private island tour. We came across Ratu Nalewavada Public School in the mountains, which serves as a boarding school for most local village children. This day was when I knew I wanted to create a space for young girls and boys in my hometown of Barbados. Eleanor, the girl in the green vest, captured my heart. From this moment, I knew I had a mission to serve.

The Young Wealth Sharers partners with public and private schools, Colleges, and Universities as a resource For training Youth on positive mindset transformation, achieving goals through strategic planning, mindset shifts, and financial literacy.
